Executive Summary This report is aimed to analyze a case study ââ¬Å"The Challenges of My First Job at Asacura Internationalâ⬠through reference to OB theories and their principles. From this report, it is found that there were team conflicts between Julie, new recruited employee and other experienced team members due to differences in experience and dominating behavior of some members. At the same time, it is also identified that one team member, Harry used expert and coercive power sources along with the legitimacy and pressure tactics to put the power in practice. In this situation, it is better to use referent power and reward power with power tactics of rational persuasion, inspirational appeal and consultation to delegate authority and get the support of colleagues to perform the task. Finally, it is recommended in this report that there is a need to adopt a participative strategy to communicate the views and opinions to get involved in the decisions and develop an effective teamwork withi n the organization.
